Easy apple recipes to try this fall (Apple Cider Vinaigrette and Rainbow Slaw recipes!)

With everyone thinking about apple recipes this time of year, here’s an easy way to get the health benefits and the great taste from apples and apple cider vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinaigrette

1 C apple juice or cider
¼ C raw apple cider vinegar
¼ C olive oil
¼ C flax oil
pinch of sea salt

Mix all ingredients in a jar with a screw-top lid. Shake. Can be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks.

Rainbow Slaw

1 small apple, shredded
½ carrot, shredded
½ small Savoy cabbage, shredded
¼ C raisins
¼ C toasted walnuts
1/3 C Apple Cider Vinaigrette, with a splash of cream added

Mix ingredients and chill until served.
